Step-by-Step Process

1. Choose the Ideal Environment

  • Ensure the workspace is clean and free from dust.
  • Avoid areas with heavy dust or debris.
  • Park your car in a shaded or indoor area to prevent direct sunlight, which can cause the solution to evaporate too quickly.

2. Clean the Screen

  • Use a microfiber cloth to thoroughly clean the screen surface.
  • Avoid using products like Windex, which can leave residue and affect adhesion. Instead, use rubbing alcohol or a suitable screen cleaner.
  • Use a dust absorber or tape to remove dust particles invisible to the naked eye. Make sure all fingerprints, smudges, and dust are removed.

3. Check the TPU Film

  • Take out the TPU film designed for your screen and check its size and alignment.
  • If there are any issues with the film, stop the installation and contact our customer service for assistance.

4. Apply the Water-Soap Solution

  • After evenly spraying the water-soap solution onto the installation surface, slowly peel back the protective backing from the TPU film. Then, carefully place the film onto the treated surface and adjust its position as needed.
  • If Installing Alone – For large TPU pieces, start by peeling back a small section to create an anchoring point. Slowly continue peeling off the backing while placing the TPU film onto the surface, section by section. This method helps minimise the risk of the film sticking to itself during installation.
  • Note: Please spray the water-soap solution evenly on the surface of the installation area only. Do not spray directly onto the TPU film. Excessive spraying may cause the film to curl or deform, resulting in a loss of its original adhesion and significantly increasing the difficulty of installation.
  • If you find that the film cannot be easily repositioned for edge alignment, do not rush to start squeegeeing out the air bubbles. Instead, carefully lift the film and spray a generous amount of water-solution onto the surface underneath. Ensure there is enough solution so that the entire TPU film can slide freely for accurate alignment. Once the position is correctly adjusted, use a squeegee to remove the air bubbles and excess solution from underneath the film.

5. Remove Air Bubbles

  • Once the film is 100% aligned, use a squeegee to gently push out air bubbles and excess water from the center of the screen toward the edges.
  • Work slowly and patiently to avoid creases or wrinkles.
  • Continue using the squeegee to remove residual water and wipe the screen edges with an absorbent cloth to prevent moisture from seeping into the device.
