Installing TPU Protective Film for Car Wide Screen Display
Tools and Materials Required
- TPU film
- Installation solution (a mix of water and a few drops of mild dish soap)
- Spray bottle
- Small White felt scraper
- Wiping cloth
- Towel
- Wet wipes
- Plastic Tweezers
Step-by-Step Process
1. Choose the Ideal Environment
- Ensure the workspace is clean and free from dust.
- Avoid areas with heavy dust or debris.
- Park your car in a shaded or indoor area to prevent direct sunlight, which can cause the solution to evaporate too quickly.
2. Preparation
- Mix a water–soap solution using clean water and a few drops of dishwashing liquid.
- Add water to the compressed towel to expand it.
3. Surface Cleaning
- Use wet wipes to thoroughly clean the touch screen surface.
- Follow with dry wipes to remove any moisture.
- Use a dust absorber to carefully remove small dust particles.
4. Apply the Water–Soap Solution
- Evenly spray the water–soap solution onto the surface of the component to be protected.
- Note: Please spray the water-soap solution evenly on the surface of the installation area only. Do not spray directly onto the TPU film. Excessive spraying may cause the film to curl or deform, resulting in a loss of its original adhesion and significantly increasing the difficulty of installation.
5. Placing the Film
- Using the provided plastic tweezers, carefully place each button protector film one by one onto the button surface.
6. Final Bubble Removal
- Hold one end of the film with your finger and use the small squeegee to push bubbles out from the other end. This keeps the film from moving during installation.
